Now... Let's how many of these I'll actually accomplish. I know this is a pathetically small list, but life is busy and tiring right now so you never know. I'll do my utmost though, of course. I can't wait to tell you about my fun yet very relaxing weekend... coming soon! I hope you have a good start to the week.

Vintage steals
Finally the end of Monday!
This is usually an incredibly long day for me, work and school and finally home. I could fall asleep any minute if I wanted to but I though I should share some recent vintage bits and pieces I've picked up around the place. I love shopping vintage and second hand. You can find the most amazing, beautiful, collectables, clothes, furniture, decor, well everything really and the best part about it is that it incredibly affordable. True, you need to dig around a bit more but that's half the fun and when you find that special something you know that you won't be seeing too many other people with the same piece. When I lived in Australia I was reasonably far out of town so didn't spend much time in the city but since moving to Stockholm I've been able to explore the potential alleyways and tiny boutiques can have. I'll have to do some extra research for you all and write a list of the top spots in Stockholm and in Melbourne (The nearest city to home.)
As you know, we're starting to think about beautifying our house and although we shouldn't start with all the small things there were just a few bits and bobs that were a little irresistible and really cheap and that we decided to buy them anyway.
Every item was under 500kr less than approximately 70 bucks. The small pram is my absolute favourite. The details on it are beautiful and will make a lovely addition to child's room. We have big plans for it and it was only 380kr. When Rasmus and I found it in a moving sale we just had to buy it. The vase and the cute kettle were bought at a second hand store for 40kr les than 10bucks for both. The kettle is a really unique addition to our little kitchen and the vase looks good anywhere. The two chairs we bout for 50kr each or 15bucks together. They are worn and fold up so and are just delightfully cute. I was thinking of painting them but the colour is quite nice. I haven't decided whether to use then in the kitchen or out on the balcony both could be perfect. We'll have to wait and see.
I hope this has encouraged you to start hunting for unique and inexpensive pieces. Enjoy. xxx

Dear old Stockholm
Morning!
I'm still lying snug as a bug in bed at 11:30. Sundays are wonderful aren't they? After a bit of a night out of the town I though I'd give a sneak peak of Stockholm. Rasmus and I went into the city while the sun was setting and found some lovely places to snap a few shots. We also watched several teenagers undress and lie in a long line and then get dressed again for no apparent reason. After our stroll we head to Rasmus's friends' place to have a quick visit and then went to a bar with our good friends Lina and David before going back to there place for some more drinks and music. Apart from a still swollen and sore face it was a lovely night on the town.
We live on an island and have to cross quite a stretch of water to into town. When the sun sets it's a very impressive view from the bridge.
Gorgeous and absolutely huge church in Slussen. It was very dreamy. I would love to see the inside.
Lina, me and David. Lina and David with fake swollen faces.
Gamla Stan or Old town is one of my favourite parts of the city. Its full of colourful lopsided buildings and narrow cobbled streets. Every time I go there I feel like I've gone back in time. It's beautiful.
Birds eye view of Stockholm.
Evening florists in Gamla Stan. I love the colours and I love flowers.

It's Friday.
Happy Friday.
Today was a beautiful Autumn day in Stockholm. Unfortunately I spent my day in bed with a swollen face and constant pain. Thank you wisdom teeth! Lucky for me though my lovely boy took a day off school and baby sat me. He even took me to to the dentist and sat watching, intrigued at what the dentist did. I'm wondering too now because I'm in just as much pain as I was earlier in the day. Luckily I have the weekend to recover before exposing my swollen face to the outside world. xx

A lazy Saturday.
Hello, hello
I'm currently enjoying a relaxing evening after a bit of shopping today. I took Rasmus (my boyfriend) who would have rather stayed home and slept but I think in the end he enjoyed it. It was a very small shopping spree but shopping on a budget is a must for now.

Revlon hairdryer, Gina tricot sweater, Gunry hair repair, Chantelle facial masks and a very cheap hair brush.
I was thinking quite a lot about the blog today and although I've only just began I realised I haven't shared much information about where I' from and where I'm living now. I have some fantastic pictures of both and I can't wait to share them with you.
the boyfriend is helping out a friend redo his new apartment so I think I'll make a nice cup of hot chocolate and wait until he comes home.

Busy!
Hi All,
The last few weeks have been ridiculously busy at work. I've also started studying Swedish again during evenings so it feels like I've been running around constantly. Last night we had a 'kick off' at work and we played a Stockholm 7th circle hunt which meant we all had to run around Stockholm getting clues and answering questions until we finally found our way to the final destination which was The Museet restaurant where we had a delicious three course meal and lots of good conversation. It was a lot of fun but getting up this morning wasn't so pleasant.
But finally, I'm very relieved to say that it's Friday and I have an entire two days to myself and my boyfriend. Maybe a bit of shopping is in order. Night x
